Christine Balich I cut my teeth from deep inside the Chicago suburbs on a Polaroid One-Step my parents gave me in the early 80s and photography's been my elixir ever since. My post-university aspirations sent me headlong to Los Angeles, where I now live, work, and occasionally play pondering often the degree in which my subject material has changed over the years. I see the world more clearly from behind a polished lens and engage my surroundings most accordingly through composition and only after several hours in a darkroom. If I meet you, I may ask you to talk to my camera. Regardless, I'll understand you better if I shoot you. (Don't take that the wrong way.) I live for great photographic opportunities of all kinds, and my photos represent a world that is very real and straightforward to me. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy capturing it. Please inquire for additional samples, my portfolio, rates, and so forth. I'd love to hear from you. Like what you see? Want to contribute? Send your artwork and photography to DigiZine |
